After shooting Tom Ford, Versace, Ralph Lauren and Rag & Bone last year, South African model Candice Swanepoel has been totally transformed for her latest campaign.

Best known as the “blonde bombshell” from the Victoria’s Secret ads, the 23 year old looks almost unrecognisable in the new campaign from designer Prabal Gurung, shot by Daniel Jackson.

Her familiar blond waves have been replaced by a short, dark hairdo and her usually sun-kissed skin has turned snow white – making her deep-red lipstick look all the more gothic against the purple and magenta swirls of the outfit, from the label’s spring/summer collection.
